Having a sense of vitality in our lives, freedom to make choices, satisfaction at work and in our personal relationships, are aspirations that can often be elusive. Developing a trusting, collaborative relationship with a therapist, however, can catalyze movement towards attaining such aspirations and creating a happier, more satisfying life. By understanding ourselves, our patterns, and our challenges more clearly, we start to feel better and function more effectively in the world around us.
I tailor each therapy towards the individual's needs, mindful of their innate potential for growth. For some that means focusing on a current crisis or transitional moment in a practical way. For others, it means taking a more reflective, in-depth look at underlying patterns. Either way, I find that healing happens in the context of a unique and genuine experience, founded in an emotionally alive and connected therapeutic relationship. This relationship can play an integral part in helping to shift and re-organize “stuck” areas in your life.
